DAY 1 | Arrival-TbiIisi Overnight

Arrive in Tbilisi and meet your private driver for the transfer to your boutique hotel. After time to settle in, begin an introduction to the atmospheric Old Town, where narrow streets, historic balconies, churches and traditional architecture reflect Tbilisi's position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Visit key landmarks before gathering for a welcome dinner featuring contemporary Georgian cuisine and a curated introduction to Georgian wine.

DAY 2 | TbiIisi Overnight

Spend the morning exploring Tbilisi's historic center, including Narikala Fortress, Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati Basilica, while learning about the city's centuries-old trading and cultural connections. Continue with a private wine experience introducing the ancient qvevri method and indigenous varieties including Rkatsiteli and Kisi. Enjoy lunch featuring traditional Georgian dishes paired with local wines before an afternoon culinary experience focused on one of Georgia's signature specialties.

DAY 3 | Kakheti Overnight

Travel east into Kakheti, Georgia's principal wine region, where vineyards stretch across the Alazani Valley beneath the Greater Caucasus. Begin in Telavi with a visit to the local bazaar before continuing to a historic wine estate. Explore the estate and its historic cellars before a private tasting of Georgian and European-influenced wines. Continue to a boutique winery for a second tasting focused on Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Kisi and traditional qvevri wines, followed by a leisurely vineyard lunch.

Spend the day exploring the heart of Kakheti's wine country. Begin with a visit to the Kvareli Wine Cave, where wines are aged within extensive underground cellars carved into the Caucasus foothills. Continue to a smaller family winery or traditional marani for a more intimate look at qvevri winemaking and a tasting of amber wines and indigenous varieties. Enjoy a farm-to-table lunch with a local family before continuing to the hilltop town of Sighnaghi, with its stone walls and sweeping views across the Alazani Valley, followed by a visit to Bodbe Monastery.

DAY 4 | Kakheti Overnight

DAY 5 | Kazbegi Overnight

Leave Kakheti and travel toward the Greater Caucasus Mountains along the legendary Georgian Military Highway. Stop at Ananuri Fortress, dramatically positioned above the Aragvi River, before continuing through Gudauri and into the mountains. Arrive in Kazbegi and settle into your mountain hotel surrounded by spectacular alpine scenery. In the evening, participate in a private khinkali masterclass, learning to prepare Georgia's iconic dumplings before enjoying the finished dishes with regional wines.

DAY 6 | Borjomi Overnight

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Greater Caucasus and begin the journey south toward Borjomi, traveling through some of Georgia’s most varied landscapes.

En route, visit Uplistsikhe, one of Georgia’s most extraordinary archaeological sites. Carved directly into the rocky cliffs overlooking the Mtkvari River, this ancient cave city dates back thousands of years and once served as an important center along the Silk Road. Explore its chambers, tunnels, temples and dramatic rock-cut architecture with a private guide.

Continue to Borjomi, a historic spa town nestled within the lush forests of the Lesser Caucasus. After arriving at your hotel, enjoy a leisurely lunch followed by an afternoon dedicated to the town’s famous mineral-water and wellness traditions. Take a relaxed walk through Borjomi Central Park and visit the historic mineral-water springs, where guests can sample the naturally carbonated water for which the region has been famous since the 19th century.

Later, return to the hotel for time to enjoy its spa and wellness facilities or simply relax amid the surrounding mountain scenery.

This evening, enjoy an elegant dinner featuring seasonal Georgian cuisine and regional specialties, providing a more relaxed evening after several days of active touring.

DAY 7 | TbiIisi Overnight

After breakfast, depart Borjomi and continue toward Tbilisi, traveling through the changing landscapes of central Georgia. Your final major experience of the journey takes place at one of Georgia's most distinguished historic wine estates.

Explore the estate's historic grounds, vineyards and cellars while learning about the revival of Georgian winemaking and the estate's unique combination of Georgian viticultural traditions and European winemaking techniques. Enjoy a private tasting of selected estate wines followed by a leisurely wine-paired lunch showcasing seasonal Georgian cuisine.

Continue to Tbilisi in the afternoon and check into your boutique hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure, providing time to relax, explore the city independently or enjoy the hotel's amenities.

In the evening, gather for a memorable farewell Georgian supra, a celebratory feast featuring multiple courses, exceptional Georgian wines, traditional toasts and the warm hospitality for which the country is renowned. This final evening brings together the culinary, cultural and wine experiences of your journey through Georgia.

DAY 8 | Departure

Travelers enjoy a relaxed breakfast before transferring to the airport for onward international or domestic flights. Airport transfer to Tbilisi airport is included.

Airfare to/from Argentina is not included in this FAM Trip pricing; however, flights during the FAM Trip are included in the FAM Trip pricing.
