Tour Itinerary
DAY 1 | Arrival – Santiago de Compostela Overnight
Arrive in Santiago de Compostela, the historic capital of Galicia and the final destination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. Travelers will explore the UNESCO-listed old town with a walking tour, including the cathedral, cathedral square, and traditional Galician streets lined with tapas bars and cafés. The evening includes a welcome dinner featuring Galician seafood and introductions to Albariño wines from the nearby Rías Baixas region. This first day provides cultural context for Galicia’s deep connection between gastronomy, pilgrimage, and wine traditions.

DAY 2 | Illha da Toxa Overnight
Depart Santiago de Compostela and travel into the Rías Baixas wine region for a private vineyard and winery experience focused on Albariño production and Atlantic viticulture. Travelers will enjoy guided tastings, vineyard walks, and a lunch pairing regional wines with fresh Galician seafood and local cheeses. In the afternoon, continue to Illa da Toxa, known for its spa culture, coastal scenery, and thermal waters. The evening includes a relaxed waterfront dinner and overnight stay on the island.

DAY 3 | Vigo Overnight
Travel south toward Vigo. Spend the morning in Vigo experiencing Galicia’s internationally recognized seafood culture through a traditional mussel harvesting excursion in the Rías Gallegas. Travelers will learn about the region’s floating mussel farms, sustainable aquaculture practices, and the importance of shellfish production to the Galician economy. A traditional tapa crawl tour will take place for lunch. After lunch travelers will enjoy free time in Vigo. Dinner will focus on local cuisine paired with other Galician wines from Valdeorras & Ribeira Sacra regions.

DAY 4 | Northern Portugal Wine Country Overnight
Travel along the picturesque Atlantic coast from Vigo to Northern Portugal. Take a boat ride on the Minho River that borders Spain and Portugal while enjoying a special Port wine cocktail. Experience a wine tasting lunch in the Vinho Verde wine region. Travel to a family-run vineyard in Northern Portugal to stay the night while learning about their local gastronomy and wine production process.

DAY 5 | Braga Overnight
After breakfast, depart for the historic city of Braga, one of Portugal's oldest and most culturally significant destinations.
