Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 – ARRIVE IN EDINBURGH

Welcome to Edinburgh, Scotland's historic capital, where medieval streets, elegant Georgian architecture, and centuries of royal history create a spectacular introduction to the country. After arrival, transfer to your centrally located luxury hotel and enjoy time to relax or begin exploring the Old Town and Royal Mile at your own pace. This evening, gather for a welcome dinner showcasing modern Scottish cuisine, with locally sourced seafood, meats, seasonal produce, and a selection of Scottish whiskies.

DAY 2 – EDINBURGH: HISTORY, WHISKY & SCOTTISH GASTRONOMY

Begin with a guided exploration of Edinburgh Castle, dramatically positioned above the city, followed by a walk through the Royal Mile and historic Old Town. Enjoy a leisurely Scottish lunch featuring local specialties before spending the afternoon exploring the elegant New Town, galleries, and boutiques. This evening, experience a curated Scottish whisky tasting paired with artisanal cheeses, smoked salmon, chocolates, and other local specialties, followed by dinner at a celebrated Edinburgh restaurant.

DAY 3 – EDINBURGH TO OBAN: LOCH LOMOND, GLENCOE & SEAFOOD

Depart Edinburgh and travel west through the dramatic landscapes of the Trossachs, stopping along Loch Lomond before continuing toward the Highlands. Travel through the spectacular Glencoe Valley, surrounded by dramatic mountains and steep-sided landscapes, while learning about the area's fascinating Highland history. Continue to Oban, Scotland's famous “Seafood Capital,” and enjoy a special dinner centered around freshly landed Scottish seafood, including local shellfish, salmon, and seasonal catches.

DAY 4 – OBAN, KILMARTIN GLEN& ARGYLL GASTRONOMY

Spend the day exploring the historic landscapes of Argyll, beginning at Kilmartin Glen, one of Scotland's most significant prehistoric landscapes, with ancient standing stones, burial monuments, and archaeological sites. Continue to Inveraray, visiting its magnificent castle and exploring the charming town on the shores of Loch Fyne before enjoying a gastronomic lunch featuring local Argyll produce. Return to Oban for a guided Oban Distillery whisky experience, followed by a curated whisky-and-chocolate tasting before enjoying the evening at leisure.

DAY 5 – OBAN TO THE ISLE OF SKYE:GLENCOE & PRIVATE HIGHLAND ESTATE EXPERIENCE

Leave Oban and travel north through the spectacular western Highlands, returning through the dramatic landscapes of Glencoe before continuing toward Lochaber. Visit a historic Highland estate for a private estate culinary experience, where guests will enjoy traditional Scottish hospitality and a specially prepared meal showcasing locally sourced Highland produce, seasonal ingredients, and regional specialties. Following the estate experience, continue toward Mallaig and cross by ferry to the Isle of Skye, enjoying spectacular views across the sea and surrounding islands before arriving in Portree. Settle into your luxury accommodation and enjoy an evening dinner featuring Skye's exceptional seafood, lamb, game, and seasonal produce.

DAY 6 – ISLE OF SKYE: DUNVEGAN CASTLE, GARDENS & ISLAND GIN

Spend the morning exploring Dunvegan Castle & Gardens, the ancestral home of the Chiefs of Clan MacLeod for approximately 800 years. Explore the castle's historic interiors and its remarkable gardens before enjoying lunch featuring local island produce. In the afternoon, experience a Dunvegan Castle Gin tasting, featuring gin crafted with botanicals including herbs grown in the castle's own Walled Garden. Return to Portree along Skye's spectacular coastline before enjoying an elegant dinner highlighting the island's seafood and seasonal produce.

DAY 7 – ISLE OF SKYE: TROTTERNISH PENINSULA & ISLAND GASTRONOMY

Travel through the Trotternish Peninsula, stopping at scenic viewpoints and traditional communities while experiencing the rugged beauty of the island. This evening, enjoy a memorable island-to-table dinner featuring local seafood, lamb, game, cheeses, and seasonal Scottish ingredients, accompanied by a selection of Scottish whisky and gin.

DAY 8 – ISLE OF SKYE TO INVERNESS: EILEAN DONAN & LOCH NESS

Depart Skye and return to the mainland, stopping at Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland's most recognizable castles, dramatically positioned where three sea lochs meet. Continue through the Great Glen to Loch Ness, where guests will enjoy a scenic cruise across the legendary loch followed by a Highland lunch featuring regional specialties. Continue to Inverness and spend the evening exploring the historic city before enjoying dinner accompanied by a selection of Highland whiskies.

DAY 9 – CULLODEN,CLAVA CAIRNS & HIGHLAND WHISKY

Continue to the mysterious Clava Cairns, a remarkable prehistoric complex of standing stones and burial chambers, before traveling into the surrounding Highlands for a private distillery experience and premium whisky tasting.
