DAY 1 | Arrival-Khiva Overnight

Arrive in Urgench and meet your private driver for the journey to Khiva, one of the best-preserved medieval cities of Central Asia. Settle into your boutique hotel before beginning your first guided exploration of Itchan Kala, the UNESCO-listed walled inner city. Walk among ancient mosques, madrasas, minarets and palaces before gathering for a welcoming dinner featuring the distinctive flavors of Khorezm cuisine and Uzbek wines.

Spend a full day discovering the architectural treasures of Khiva. Explore the magnificent Tash Hauli Palace, Pahlavon Mahmud Mausoleum, Islam Khoja Minaret and Madrasa, and the historic Juma Mosque. Over lunch, experience a cooking class with the distinctive cuisine of the Khorezm region, including local breads, fresh produce and traditional specialties such as shivit oshi. In the afternoon, visit a local artisan workshop before enjoying dinner in the atmospheric setting of the ancient city.

DAY 2 | Khiva Overnight

DAY 3 | Bukhara Overnight

After breakfast, transfer to Urgench Airport for a short flight to Bukhara, avoiding the lengthy overland journey between the two historic cities. Upon arrival, settle into your boutique hotel before beginning your introduction to Bukhara's atmospheric old town. Explore the elegant Lyabi-Hauz ensemble and traditional trading domes before enjoying dinner in a restored historic courtyard, accompanied by regional cuisine and Uzbek wine..

Discover the architectural treasures of Bukhara, one of Central Asia's most important historic cities. Explore the spectacular Poi-Kalyan complex, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, Mir-i-Arab Madrasa and the traditional trading domes. Continue to the Ark Fortress and Ismail Samani Mausoleum before enjoying a leisurely lunch featuring traditional Bukhara cuisine. In the afternoon, experience Uzbek culinary traditions through breads, spices, dried fruits and regional specialties before an elegant dinner and an Uzbek Cognac tasting.

DAY 4 | Bukhara Overnight

Continue your exploration of Bukhara beyond the historic center. Visit Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the elegant former summer palace of the Emir of Bukhara, followed by the Naqshbandi Sufi complex. Return to the old city for lunch and time to browse traditional artisan workshops and the historic trading areas. The afternoon brings a gastronomic experience focused on Uzbek tea, breads, dried fruits, nuts and traditional sweets, followed by dinner accompanied by a selection of local wines.

DAY 5 | Bukhara Overnight

DAY 6 | Samarkand Overnight

Board the comfortable high-speed train for the journey from Bukhara to Samarkand. Upon arrival, begin exploring the magnificent Timurid capital with a visit to the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, final resting place of Timur and an architectural masterpiece in its own right. After lunch, visit the extraordinary Registan Square, surrounded by three monumental madrasas decorated with intricate tilework. Visit to Konigil, known for its traditional handmade paper-making heritage. End the day with dinner featuring traditional Samarkand cuisine and regional wines.

DAY 7 | Samarkand Overnight

Today is dedicated to the wine culture surrounding Samarkand. Travel into the surrounding countryside for a private winery and vineyard experience, with a tasting of Uzbek wines accompanied by local cheeses, breads and regional specialties. Return to Samarkand for lunch before visiting the Ulugh Beg Observatory, where the city's remarkable medieval contributions to astronomy come to life. Enjoy a final evening in Samarkand with dinner featuring contemporary interpretations of Uzbek cuisine.

DAY 8 | Samarkand Overnight

Continue discovering Samarkand's extraordinary architectural heritage with visits to the Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis, Bibi-Khanum Mosque and Siyob Bazaar. Explore the colorful market filled with breads, dried fruits, nuts and spices before enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, turn to Uzbekistan's wine heritage with a visit to the historic wine tasting room. Discover the history of winemaking in Samarkand before enjoying a curated tasting of Uzbek wines, followed by dinner featuring regional cuisine.

DAY 9 | Tashkent Overnight

Boarding the high-speed train to Tashkent. Upon arrival, explore the capital's distinctive architectural landscape, blending historic, Soviet-era and contemporary influences with a tour led by a local guide. Visit Kukeldash Madrasah and experience a private tasting in the Chorsu Bazaar. Conclude the journey with a farewell dinner featuring a comparative tasting of Uzbek wines from the Samarkand and Tashkent regions.

DAY 10 | Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then depart for Tashkent airport.
